Description

Delicious Homemade Pepperoni Pizza Pockets filled with gooey cheese and savory pepperoni, perfect for busy weeknights or lazy weekends.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of pizza dough
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Flour for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into rectangles (about 4×5 inches).
  4. Place a tablespoon of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
  5. Add a layer of pepperoni slices and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
  6. Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges tightly with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  8. Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  10. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Dust your dough with flour to prevent sticking. Make sure to seal the edges well to keep all that gooey cheese inside!
