- 1 package of pizza dough
- 1 cup pepperoni slices
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Flour for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Cut the dough into rectangles (about 4×5 inches).
- Place a tablespoon of pizza sauce on one half of each rectangle.
- Add a layer of pepperoni slices and a generous amount of mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce.
- Fold the dough over to create a pocket and seal the edges tightly with a fork.
- Brush the tops with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
- Place the pockets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Dust your dough with flour to prevent sticking. Make sure to seal the edges well to keep all that gooey cheese inside!
