Description

Delightful bite-sized churro treats with a healthier twist, perfect for family nights or festive gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (for coating)

Instructions

  1. Combine water, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
  2. Add the flour all at once and stir until a ball forms.
  3. Remove from heat and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Shape the dough into small bite-sized balls.
  7. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the balls in a single layer.
  8. Air fry for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon in a separate bowl.
  10. Roll the churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture immediately after pulling them from the air fryer.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!
