Description

Delightful, golden, crispy churro bites coated in sweet cinnamon sugar, perfect for sharing at family gatherings or enjoying as a quick snack.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for coating)
  • Oil spray

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, butter, sugar, and salt over medium heat. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour, baking powder, and vanilla until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Allow the dough to cool slightly, then transfer it to a piping bag.
  4. Preheat air fryer to 375°F.
  5. Pipe small bites of dough into the air fryer basket.
  6. Spray with oil and cook for 8-10 minutes until golden brown.
  7. In a bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon.
  8. Carefully toss the cooked churro bites in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  9. Serve warm.

Notes

For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with margarine or coconut oil. Use a star tip for piping to achieve the classic churro shape.
