Description

A delightful dish combining tender gnocchi with crispy bacon and creamy cheeses, perfect for family dinners or gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 package of gnocchi
  • 4 strips of bacon, chopped
  • 1 cup crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon until crispy. Remove from heat and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  4. In a large bowl, combine cooked bacon, gnocchi, heavy cream, feta, salt, and pepper. Mix well to ensure everything is evenly coated.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

For a lighter option, you can swap heavy cream for a lower-fat alternative or use turkey bacon instead of regular bacon.
