Description

A flavorful salmon dish with a delightful brown sugar and soy sauce glaze, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, soy sauce, melted butter, honey, garlic powder, black pepper, and paprika until well combined.
  4. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet and brush it with half of the glaze.
  5. Bake the salmon for 8 minutes.
  6. After 8 minutes, remove it from the oven and brush with the remaining glaze.
  7. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes until the salmon flakes easily and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  8. Let it rest for 2 minutes before serving, then sprinkle with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, swap soy sauce for tamari. For a vegan alternative, use agave nectar instead of honey.
