Description

Quick and family-friendly Air Fryer Orange Chicken, featuring a sweet and tangy orange sauce that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (gluten-free if needed)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine orange juice, orange zest, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, honey, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  5. Cook for 10-12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and golden.
  6. Serve hot with cooked rice.

Notes

For an even deeper flavor, let the chicken marinate for up to an hour. Don’t overcrowd the air fryer basket for the best texture.
