Description
A delightful breakfast or brunch dish featuring crispy bread, gooey cheese, and rich eggs, prepared effortlessly in the air fryer.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of thick bread (sourdough or sandwich bread)
- 2 eggs
- ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, etc.)
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: fresh parsley or chives for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F.
- Lightly butter one side of each slice of bread and press a well into the center.
- Crack one egg into the well of each bread slice.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese around the edges or over the egg whites.
- Air fry for about 6–8 minutes, until the egg whites are set and the cheese is melting beautifully.
- Season with salt, pepper, and fresh herbs if desired. Serve hot, and enjoy!

Experiment with different types of cheeses and add sautéed veggies or proteins to create variations.
