Description
Delicious apple fries made in an air fryer, coated in a crispy crunch and spiced with cinnamon for a guilt-free treat.

- 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Granny Smith)
- ½ cup all-purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Nonstick cooking spray
Instructions
- Peel the apples if desired and cut them into fry-like sticks. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Set up three bowls: Bowl 1 with flour, Bowl 2 with whisked egg and milk, Bowl 3 with panko breadcrumbs, sugar, and cinnamon.
- Dredge each apple stick in the flour, dip into the egg mixture, and coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Lightly spray the coated apple fries with nonstick cooking spray and arrange them in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry at 380°F (190°C) for 7–9 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Serve warm with caramel dip, yogurt, or whipped cream.
Notes
For a crunchier coating, double-dip the apple sticks in the egg and breadcrumb mixtures. You can also experiment with different spices and toppings.
